Cantine Volpi, Barolo 2020

An affordable, approachable Barolo from the excellent 2020 vintage. The generally kind weather gave winemakers the opportunity to pick healthy fruit at just the right moment, and this is reflected in juicy, aromatic wines with beautiful balance and elegant flavour profiles.

The typical Nebbiolo tannins and acidity are present, but they are in harmony with the ripe, sumptuous fruit energy of the wine. You could keep this bottle for a few years, but drink it now and you'll enjoy a rich, fruity aromatic experience enlivened by zesty freshness and firm structure.
