This is a terrific example of the magic that can happen when you co-ferment Syrah with some Viognier—the end result seems more than the sum of the parts.

Rewarded with a Paris gold medal in the previous vintage, this bold, juicy unoaked red is fruity and rounded, but at the same time has depth and peppery spice, with inviting floral aromas throughout.

The label shows a wild boar roasting on a spit at the gates of the property. You don't need to go to that trouble, though—this big red is delicious with any roast meat or savoury meal with rich flavours.
