From a clay-limestone vineyard of twenty acres, facing Château Ausone in the southern part of Saint-Émilion, this wine combines around 85% Merlot with Cabernet Franc to give a powerful, fresh red aged for eighteen months in new barrels. Lively red fruit aromas and a dynamic first sip develop into silky balance on the palate, with spice and elegance that linger into the finish.
