‘The 2020 Barbaresco Gallina shows lean concentration and a luminous ruby appearance. The bouquet is beautiful with a sweet cherry tone that rises above crushed limestone, blue flower and blood orange. There is a dry or almost dusty side to the wine that you feel on the palate especially, but the overall impression it leaves is one of subdued elegance and finesse. This is a special wine with 6,000 bottles released.’
