The Condrieu appellation in the northern Rhône Valley produces only white wines, and this luxurious and aromatic pure Viognier makes a fine aperitif. Hazelnut and almond aromas introduce a lively but generous mouthful of peach and apricot fruit flavours that lingers on the palate before a soft finish.

Pair this indulgent wine with rich foods such as prawns, pâtés, or roast pork. Its edge of freshness and medium body would equally suit it to firmer white fish or milder soft cheeses.
